Debug Essentials for Game Maker Studio 2, Released
Debug Essentials v0.0.1 has been released. There is a free demo available to try the functions and learn the code before jumping into the purchase if you prefer. The goal for Debug Essentials is to support the development of most project types in a way that doesn't fill the tool with clutter. All code is commented to support your understanding of the functions.
Debug Essentials is early in development and will be added to regularly. The price reflects not only what functionality and experience is currently in the tool but what functionality will be added within the next couple of months.
At the moment the asset package has the functions I use most when developing my own games for myself and my clients. These are functions i have made time and time again which is why i felt combining them into an easy to use package would be a great idea not only for me but other Game Maker developers.
What's Included
6 - Debug functions (Debug messages)
4 - Log file functions (Event logging)
4 - Overlay assist functions (fps, mouse position, collision boxes)
4 - Tool functions (induce lag and time benchmarking)
4 - Other functions (Mainly for the other functions, returning event name, time stamp, date stamp and object name)
Documentation, Demo object and Demo room included to show how the functions can be used.
